We have an exciting opportunity for a limited number of Tradespacers to take part in our test mission to another world - the virtual world of Second Life.
Second Life is a three dimensional online virtual world created by Linden Labs and launched in 2004. It now has over 10 million registered members and over 1 million regular visitors. It even has its own currency - Linden dollars - and thousands of individuals and businesses around the world are already making real money running business in Second Life. Many household brands such as BBC, Reuters, Dell and Calvin Klein already have a presence in Second Life in recognition of the growing market potential.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to join us in road testing the BT Tradespace Island in Second Life. We will give you your own virtual presence in one of our four zones on the Island for five days during the trial. Visitors to the island will be able to explore your business in three dimensions and will be able to contact you in Second Life and via the more traditional methods of phone, SMS and email.
There is no cost involved to take part and our developers will work with you to set up your business presence on our Island. All we ask is that you can be available online to access Second Life to respond to potential customers for the duration of the trial.
Visit our Second Life Tradespace site where you can find photos and a video of the Tradespace Island. There we will also be posting regular updates and further details of the trial.
To register your interest in taking part in the trial, simply drop us an email with the subject line 'Second Life Trial'.
